We usually rehearse from 7.30pm on Friday evenings and from 4:30pm on Saturday in preparation for the service at 6:00pm. Each week we sing plainchant for the many parts of the proper of the mass (Introit, Alleluia, Offertory and Communion) as well as polyphony for the ordinary (Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus and Agnus Dei). In addition one or two motets will be sung.

Singers are asked to commit to the Friday rehearsal if they wish to sing on the Saturday.

Our repertoire is extensive: many hundreds of mass settings and over 700 motets from Josquin, through Palestrina, Victoria, orchestral masses by Mozart and Haydn and accompanied masses by Widor, Jongen and Britten to music composed for the choir including music by Lennox Berkeley.
